Head of ghost is only 5 inches. I don't think anyone one would notice if we put this in our yard. Had impression it was a ghost for the yard. Picture looks like ghost is larger. We have it on our kitchen counter. Cute but not impressed especially for $20. Not sure if I would pay over $5.

This arborist really knows how to ship live plants. The ones I received were in full bloom, so I enjoyed all their fragrance and beauty as soon as I extracted them from their 5-foot tall boxes. I'm rather new at this, so the instructions for planting and care were very welcome. After planting there was a huge bumblebee that decided to guard the new Lilac bushes, so I had to sniff carefully, but it appears this rare warm-climate strain is settling nicely into its drip-irrigated home and promises to make springtime a yearly pleasure for man and bee.

This fence is used to keep grandchildren a safe distance from our wood burning stove. It works, they cannot move it and it does not get hot.

We ordered the 3 in one superyard plus this extension to section of a large part of our living room for our twins to play. It's very simple to add it on to the super-yard: no tools required. The only issue I have with the extension set is that it DOES NOT COME WITH EXTRA HARDWARE for attaching it to the wall, which you will need if:

1. You're using an odd number of panels in the wall-attached configuration and you want the option of easily converting it back to a stand alone enclosure
2. You're using extension parts alone to block off access to an area where a gate is not needed

To explain: We only needed 1 of the 2 extension panels to fit our space, and were able to swap parts around on the wall attachment hardware to make it work. There's a great review about how to do this under the 3 in 1 superyard product page in which the reviewer described a fix that won't require you to buy extra parts. We've now purchased another 2-panel extension to use with our "leftover" panel to block off access to our gas fireplace. If you want to use the extension, as we do, to block of an area you don't need gate access to, you will need to buy the wall-atachment hardware from the manufacturer: they have a nice webpage where you can select the parts you need... but it would be much easier if the parts just came with it... or if you could buy them from amazon.

My 7-year old lego obsessed son loves this. He keeps it with him at night so he won't be "scared" in the dark.... not too bright, but it gives off good light.

Since this lantern uses LED lights it has decent battery life, but not the brightest of lights. For a child's purpose tho the light is sufficient. Only gripe is it being a lego minifig it'd be nice if you could move the joints some, have him sit down, move his arms, swivel his head... Also the square block handel isn't very comfortable and seems an odd design choice.

After trying the fisher price "kid tough" flashlight that did not work properly (feel free to read my review of it on amazon), and the duracell kid's flashlights that were not easy for our kids to use, we decided to try this Lego lantern and have been very pleased with it.

My 3 year old and 5 year old both loved this lantern flashlight and it has worked great on our family camping trips. It has survived many drops and abuse and still works great. The switch is very easy to turn on and off, even for a 3 year old.

I only have 2 complaints. The first is that the handle is small and therefore not as comfortable for an adult to use, but for kids it is GREAT! Also, if packed too tightly in a duffle, the switch can easily be accidentally be turned on, and that runs down your batteries.

Battery life is good, especially when we compared it to the other kid's flashlights we tried. Even if you leave it on for long periods of time, typically one set of batteries will get you through a weekend camping trip. (Our daughter used it as a tent "nightlight" and refused to turn it off.) The amount of light it puts out is also good for camping and other low light situations. We even used one of these to light our whole tent by hanging it from the top of the tent.

Note: There is no automatic shutoff if that is what you are looking for.

I have been looking for a long time for an insulated container that really retains heat. Most of them don't work well - but this one does.

I did a careful test comparing this to another typical 10oz stainless food contained that is supposed to be vacuum insulated. I pre-heated both with 172 degree hot water, then filled each with more hot water and verified the water in each was 172 degrees. Then I closed both and left them on the counter (68 degrees) for 3 hours. After three hours, the water in the other one was only 97 degrees, while the water in this one was still hot at 133 degrees. That's a huge difference. This one will actually keep your hot lunch hot.

I used to use this every day for lunch/dinner between long classes. It's surprisingly efficient and will keep something reasonably heated for half the day. From my experience, it will keep things hot longer the more fluid it is, but I liked to put things like lasagna and meatball/pasta with lots of sauce in there. Mmmm. Be sure to wash thoroughly, never put in the dishwasher, and gently clean the silicone O-ring. If you're worried about leaks, something I've never experienced as a student, just drop it in a big ziploc bag. The orange dimples on the Thermos Nissan version are indented, making the lid easier to remove. It also seems to be better quality in build than the plain "Thermos" food jar version.

P.S.: Always preheat (or precool) any steel insulated container with boiling water (or place in the fridge) for at least 15 minutes or so. When you put your hot food in, you will notice that the outside of the container exudes heat, especially through the cap. This is normal. The performance is much better this way.
